These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ravo application, operated by ALBA TRADING FZC (“the Company,” “we,” or “our”). By using the Ravo application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of them, you are not authorized to use the application.

1. User Accounts

1.1 Users are not allowed to create more than one account for any reason. Ravo reserves the right to freeze or cancel duplicate accounts while ensuring any pending financial operations are resolved before account closure.

1.2 Users are fully responsible for all activities conducted under their accounts and must not share their username or password with others.

1.3 Users must notify Ravo immediately in case of unauthorized account access or any similar breach.

1.4 Ravo is not liable for any direct or indirect losses or damages caused by the disclosure of usernames or passwords.

1.5 Users agree to indemnify Ravo against any improper, unauthorized, or illegal use of their accounts, whether by them or others using their credentials.

1.6 Users may not register or bid using fake or misleading identities or as an agent for someone prohibited from bidding.

1.7 Users must periodically update their registration details to ensure accuracy, completeness, and currency.

1.8 If a user provides false, inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete information, or if Ravo suspects intentional submission of false data, Ravo reserves the right to suspend or terminate the account, ensuring all financial operations are resolved beforehand.

1.9 Anyone whose account has been terminated is not permitted to use the application again.

2. Payment Methods

2.1 Users can pay required deposits or fees using electronic payment methods such as Visa and Mastercard.

2.2 Payment processing is managed by MyFatoorah, which is responsible for the secure handling of all financial transactions.

2.3 Refund requests for deposited amounts will be processed within 1 to 14 business days.

3. General Terms

3.1 Any ambiguity or misunderstanding in the terms or regulations must not be interpreted in a way that negatively impacts any party.

3.2 Users acknowledge and agree to any specific terms related to individual listings, which are considered part of and complementary to the general Terms and Conditions.

3.3 The bidding and sale process is final and irrevocable. Users must inspect items thoroughly before placing bids to ensure satisfaction with their condition and specifications.

3.4 Ravo reserves the right to postpone auctions due to technical issues that cannot be controlled until the issue is resolved.

3.5 Ravo is not legally liable for any technical or system malfunctions during the auction and will not compensate for losses resulting from such malfunctions.

3.6 Auction times may be extended if there are bids during the final moments to allow fair opportunities for all participants.

3.7 Bids submitted electronically through the platform are binding purchase commitments and cannot be canceled.

3.8 Manipulating bids to artificially raise or lower prices is strictly prohibited. Violators will be fined AED 5,000 per violation, and their accounts may be terminated after settling all financial obligations.

4. Inspection and “As-Is” Sales

4.1 All items are sold “as is” in their current condition and location.

4.2 Ravo does not guarantee any representations, specifications, or details provided by suppliers, including but not limited to:

  • Mileage accuracy.
  • Ownership guarantees.
  • Details in technical inspection reports.
  • Vehicle or equipment condition.
  • Year of manufacture.
  • Export eligibility.
  • Visible or hidden defects.

4.3 Buyers acknowledge that they have thoroughly inspected the items being sold.

4.4 All items are sold after inspection without any guarantees from Ravo.

4.5 Buyers cannot hold Ravo liable for any visible or hidden defects found before, during, or after the auction.

5. Technical Issues and Liability

5.1 Users are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection to submit bids on time.

5.2 Ravo is not responsible for any technical or system malfunctions during the bidding process.

5.3 In the event of any system error resulting in an accidental refund, the user is obligated to return the amount to Ravo. Failure to comply will result in legal action.

6. Taxes and Fees

6.1 All transactions are conducted in AED.

6.2 A VAT of 5% will be applied to the final auction price and any additional fees as per UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations.

7. Notifications

7.1 Notifications related to user accounts will be sent to the registered email address.

7.2 Users are required to update their email addresses to ensure accurate and effective communication.

8. Amendments

8.1 Ravo reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

8.2 Amendments become effective immediately upon being published on the application or website.
